A Taste of Eight over Eight

Chelsea’s lengthy Kings Road may have ribbons of restaurants down its stylishly trendy street, but Eight Over Eight is one of the very few that truly lives up to its promise.  A sibling to the prized line of Ricker Restaurants – E&O in Notting Hill, Great Eastern Dining Room in Hoxton, and XO in Belsize Lane – Eight Over Eight takes the form of a converted theatre pub, just steps around the corner from the iconic first-ever Vivienne Westwood store.

It’s a very quaint setting complemented by lush interiors – think silk ceiling lamps, black ash furnishing, pale lime-washed oak walls (with dark, rich oak on the lower sections), white-covered tables and sleek statement lighting – all which have been implemented as part of its re-launch and makeover, further to a fire back in 2009.
